Oakland Junior High School superior in Project Citizen Showcase
Please congratulate members of Michael Fernandez and Nick Kremer’s Oakland Junior High School 9th Grade Link Class for being one of three high schools in the state to receive a “Superior” rating at the Project Citizen Showcase in Jefferson City. Missouri Peace Officers Foundation Essay Contest Winners
Two JJHS English 8 students are essay winners in the Missouri Peace Officers Foundation Essay Contest “Why I Will Say No to Alcohol, Drugs, and Tobacco!” Laysie Dorman is the first place winner for the east side of the state. Hannah Cajandig is the second place winner from the east side of the state. Both students were recognized with a cash prize and will be featured in an upcoming magazine edition of Law Enforcement.
