Thanksgiving is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing drinking holidays of the year, soon reaching the levels of St. Patrick’s Day and New Years Eve.

According to research and consulting firm Technomic’s Donna Hood Crecca, Black Wednesday (the Wednesday before Thanksgiving) has essentially morphed into the first drinking weekend of the holiday season for many Americans.

It has also been found that many underaged people use this time to sneak alcohol during the hustle and bustle of the holiday.
