As schools are back in session, children will be getting online to work on homework, do research and probably take a break from all the school work with some online games.
The Knox Promise Neighborhood realizes the importance of teaching students as well as parents about internet safety and has been and will continue to teach classes on internet safety.
“We’re teaching parents and students,” said Kayla Hubbard, safety and wellness coordinator for Knox Promise Neighborhood.
“I do a different curriculum K-12 so every student can receive this,” Hubbard said. “In the trainings I teach them about cyberbullying, sexting, people that’s on the internet that are trying to get kids — things of that nature.”
